Missouri Ozarks Community Action, Inc. (MOCA) Head Start is a federally funded comprehensive child development program for children ages 3 to 5. MOCA Head Start provides Education, Nutrition, Health, Mental Health, Dental, Social Services, Parent involvement and Special services for children with disabilities. Focuses on delivering high-quality child development services to children from low-income families; our program is family-centered and respects the parents as the primary educators and nurturers of their children.
Intake Process:
To apply call and make an appointment at MOCA Head Start. Bring the following documentation with you:
Proof of child's date of birth
Child immunization record
Proof of income, (including TANF or SSI award letter, if applicable)
IEP, if applicable
Eligibility:
MOCA Head Start offers full day/part year programs and part day/part year programs.
Children must be three years old by July 31st to apply for the upcoming school year.
Transportation assistance is available for most children.
10% of MOCA Head Start enrollment is made available to children with disabilities regardless of severity.
MOCA Head Start operates under a grant from the office of Health and Human Services. This institution is an equal opportunity provider and employer.

Mon-Fri - 8:00am to 4:00pm
Required Documents
To complete an application must have: Birth Certificate Shot Record Proof of Income for previous 12 months (1040 Tax form, W-2, etc.)

Low income families Children with disabilities and/or children who are disadvantaged Age 3 to 5
Fees
Before/After School program $35 weekly; State subsidy accepted.
