M-F 8am-5pm
Required Documents
Application; Social Security numbers for everyone in your household that has one; Proof of income; Utility account information (Vendor name and account number); Primary fuel type that heats your home
Eligibility
Household income must not exceed 150% of the federal poverty level; Bill must be in the name of the individual applying for assistance; Must have made recent payments toward heating or cooling costs of at least $80 or the balance of the bill, whichever is less; At least one member of the household must be a US citizen or "qualified alien"

Applications for the program have been mailed to households that received energy assistance last year. LIEAP applications are also available at local DCF offices and through Johnson County Multi Service Centers during application period. They can be requested over the phone. To apply online, visit https://cssp.kees.ks.gov/apspssp/sspNonMed.portal. Applications must be received prior to 5pm, March 29, 2024.
