Description
Community Program designed to provide a safe place for both Individual and group service options to individuals with Developmental Disabilities. Support services included, but are not limited to: promoting volunteerism in the community as a way to give back or to learn pre-employment skills; using technology; developing social skills by making and interacting with new friends; learning how to advocate for ones-self; positive communication; learning about the community and using the resources in the community; current topics and events; daily living skills; recreation and leisure activities; community integration and much more. A person who may need a safe place to be during the day while family is at work may need the services full-time. Others who would like to come for specific events or on a part-time basis may also do so; depending on the need of the individual. They also can support individuals on a behavioral or medical basis.

Description
Residential Services or Individualized Supported Living (ISL) services are available to those individuals who have a need to move out of their current living situation and into a home of their own. Supported Living Services allows an individual to live in a home of their own, often with a roommate. ISL services and supports are individually planned and budgeted for each individual person served. Services are designed to assist individuals in acquiring, retaining and improving their self-help, socialization and activities of daily living depending upon the needs of the individual.

Description
The ICAN Community Services Children's Program is located in their main office building. These services are designed to enhance social experience, communication skills, and provide developmental activities for children with Developmental Disabilities after school in a group or individual setting. I can supports individuals with medical or behavioral needs. Children make and learn to maintain new friendships, practice and learn important social skills, daily living skills, interact in sharing, taking turns, communicating positively with others, working on age and developmentally appropriate tasks of greater independence.

Description
Home and Community-Based services are designed to provide needed support to individuals with Developmental Disabilities living in their own homes or with family members. Also includes transportation services designed to assist individuals with getting to and from the Community Services building other transportation services on a needs basis. The Adventure Club is service that is in a group setting that takes place in the community once a month. This service gives individuals an opportunity to make friends, learn how to plan events, budget for said event, gain community integration experiences and get involved in activities and social events.
