Contested Divorce Assistance

Programs that provide assistance for people who want to initiate a suit to dissolve their marriage in situations where the other party is taking steps to legally oppose the action or who want to legally oppose a suit to dissolve their marriage that was initiated by their partner.

Divorce Mediation

Programs that provide a neutral third person who facilitates discussion between people involved in a divorce action enabling them to make their own settlement decision. Also included are collaborative family law programs in which couples voluntarily sign a participation agreement binding both to the process and disqualifying their lawyer's right to represent either one in any future family-related litigation. The agreement also allows them to avoid the expense and uncertain outcome of a court case.

Uncontested Divorce Assistance

Programs that provide assistance for people who want to initiate or respond to a suit to dissolve their marriage in situations where the other party agrees to the action and will not take steps to legally oppose the suit.
